For the second edition of its summer literary program, Miu Miu imagined a delicate and immersive experience in the heart of Paris. Over the course of a weekend, the garden of the Bibliothèque nationale de France – Richelieu was transformed by an open-air scenography celebrating literature, feminine thought, and the spirit of the urban summer. OBO produced the entire installation, designed as a poetic and peaceful promenade around two powerful literary works: The Inseparables by Simone de Beauvoir and The Waiting Years by Fumiko Enchi. Visitors were invited to collect complimentary limited editions, wrapped in exclusive Miu Miu jackets and accompanied by illustrated bookmarks and collector’s stamps. The custom-designed furniture — circular benches, side tables, and white parasols — seamlessly blended into the lush greenery of the garden. The entire setup was conceived as an invitation to read, reflect, and slow down. With iced coffee in hand and book in bag, thousands of visitors turned the historic site into a peaceful, cultural haven.
